Pontianak

Pontianak or known as Kuntilanak in Indonesia is a humanoid entity. Pontianak resembles a pregnant, fair skinned female in her late 20s, who were unable to give birth to a child and it also dressed in a white dress which is covered with blood and dirt and sometimes it appears as the same facial features, but with more feminine looks and dressed properly, which is Kebaya, a traditional Malaysian female apparel. Its behaviours are as much as likely the same with its counterpart, which is vampires. Both of them feed on human blood but Pontianak’s sometimes feeds on the blood of pregnant women. Aside from its western cousin, Pontianak didn’t afraid of the sun as like as its cousin which is vampires, and they can be weaken by slamming nails into the back of their necks. Pontianak is also described as a vengeful spirit with long fingernails.
