Puteri Zaleha is another folklore of a white blooded princess. She is the daughter of Sultan Sulaiman Syah of Sultan Kedah, and she had a twin sister named Puteri Mariam. Sultan Aceh had gone to the fortune-teller, and he was told that Kedah has a white blood princess named Puteri Zaleha and he wants to marry her. Sultan Sulaiman Syah hid his daughter from Sultan Aceh as he was a casanova.  

When Sultan Aceh knew that Puteri Zaleha had been switched with Puteri Mariam, he demanded his soldier to capture Sultan Sulaiman Syah and his family. He hid Puteri Zaleha and asked the moon to protect her. Puteri Zaleha died because insufficient of food.
