The name given by Orang Iban; Bujang Senang, is a legendary crocodile. A crocodile measuring 20 feet long with white stripes on its back was believed by Iban people that Bujang Senang was a warrior from Sarawak named Simalungun. Because of Simalungun’s secrets which his immortality, Simalungun and his wife was killed and turned into a huge crocodile (Bujang Senang). It haunts the descendants of the killers around Batang Lupar as they wanted revenge.
